This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the Fatafat mobile application and website (the "Platform"). By using Fatafat, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information We collect information that identifies you personally, including:

  • Identity Data: Name, Phone Number, Profile Picture.

  • Delivery Data: Home/Work Delivery Addresses and Contact Details.

  • Vehicle Rental Data: Driver’s License copies and CNIC (for Fatafat Wheels users only).

  • Health Data: Prescriptions uploaded for medicine delivery (for Fatafat Meds).

B. Sensitive Permissions (Crucial for App Functionality)

  • Precise Location: We collect your precise location to pinpoint your delivery address and track riders in real-time.

  • Camera & Gallery: We request access to your camera to allow you to upload photos of prescriptions (Pharmacy), items to return, or your profile picture.

  • Files & Media: To store order invoices on your device.

C. Device & Usage Data We collect information about your device (IP address, Device ID/IMEI, OS version) to prevent fraud (e.g., fake referral accounts) and improve app performance.

3. How We Use Your Information We use your data for the following purposes:

  1. Order Fulfillment: To share your location and order details with Riders and Restaurants/Stores to complete the delivery.

  2. Rent-a-Car Verification: To verify your identity and driving license before releasing a vehicle.

  3. Communication: To send you status updates, OTPs, and promotional offers.

  4. Customer Support: To resolve issues regarding cancellations or refunds.

  5. Fraud Prevention: To detect multiple accounts created on the same device to exploit referral bonuses.

4. Location Data Policy (Background & Foreground)

  • Foreground Location: We collect your location when the app is open to help you select your delivery address.

  • Background Location (For Riders Only): If you are using the "Fatafat Driver App," we collect location data even when the app is closed to allow customers to track their delivery in real-time.

5. Sharing of Information We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with:

  • Service Providers: Riders, Restaurants, Car Rental Agencies, and Pharmacists (only the data necessary to fulfill your specific order).

  • Payment Processors: Banks and payment gateways (e.g., JazzCash, EasyPaisa, Visa/Mastercard) to process transactions securey.

  • Legal Authorities: If required by Pakistani law or to prevent illegal activity (e.g., sending prohibited items via Courier).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • We retain your personal data as long as your account is active.

  • Delete Account: You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can find the "Delete Account" option in the App Settings. Once requested, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days, except for transaction records required for tax purposes.

7. Security We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption and secure servers) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy Our services are not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
